Dr. Allise Markowski recently had the opportunity to travel to Madrid, Spain to attend the Optical Success Academy this March 🌍

Surrounded by colleagues and innovators in optometry from the US, UK, and Ireland, she spent time learning, collaborating, and bringing back new ideas to continue elevating the patient experience at Connecticut Vision.

She was also honored to speak and share the growth and success of her practice—proving that impactful, forward-thinking care can thrive right here in a small community ✨

✨💃🏆 So grateful to Suffield Parks and Recreation and Fred Astaire Dance Studios Suffield for inviting me to be part of the 3rd Annual Dancing with the Stars 💃✨

Together, we raised over $20,000 to support Bowling Buddies—an incredible cause that brings so much joy to our community.

This experience pushed me outside my comfort zone, introduced me to a new hobby, and reminded me how special this town truly is. I’m so proud to be part of a community that shows up, supports one another, and has a whole lot of fun doing it 💃🏆✨

And a special thank you to Rob Faber for capturing these moments so beautifully 📸

Dr. Markowski is taking the stage tomorrow for Dancing with the Stars, and she has been working incredibly hard over the past few months to prepare a choreographed performance—all in support of our amazing Parks & Recreation programs and the “Bowling Buddies” initiative. 💃🎉

When a great day becomes the best day. 💜

I was already feeling confident in a new purple jumpsuit paired with my favorite Bevel frames — and then the most beautiful surprise arrived at the office.

A stunning bouquet of purple flowers from the incredible team at Optical Success Academy to celebrate my 40th birthday.

It’s such a gift to be part of a professional community that not only challenges you to grow, but also celebrates you along the way.

Grateful for the support, the friendships, and the reminder that turning 40 isn’t just a milestone — it’s a season worth celebrating all year long.

Tipsy Paint Brush & Kiln It Pottery Studio was the perfect backdrop for a night filled with color, laughter, and the creative spirit that makes our office sparkle.
