It’s that time of year, when everyone is trying to stay healthy. My favorite non-toxic surface cleaner is On Guard essential oil blend. It smells so fresh with ingredients like wild orange peel, clove bud, cinnamon leaf, cinnamon bark, eucalyptus leaf, and rosemary leaf. I put a few drops in a spray bottle of water. When diffused, it helps purify the air and the light scent is warm and woody. I also have the foaming hand soap at the kitchen sink since we’re washing our hands so often.

Recently I presented perennial wisdom associated with Halloween, with emphasis on how the Wise Woman archetype was stripped of her status in the world and in the collective psyche. Over centuries, we went from revering the sacred feminine to banishing her to the edges of society, like the Halloween witch. Our meditation, accompanied by live chimes, crystal bowls, and shimmering gong, guided us to release old-paradigm programming and reclaim our sacred feminine power. On the fall equinox, Nature offers us teaching about balance. Light snd dark are balanced — equinox means “equal night.” When world events reflect severe imbalance, we’re called to summon as much equanimity as we can. To stay focused in compassion, trust, and faith in our soul’s evolution through times that seem to threaten our foundations.

Today the sun rises due east and sets due west. Offering salutations of gratitude at sunrise and sunset can balance the tumult and raise your vibration above the fray.
