In one week, WTFC will participate with over 200 non-profit agencies throughout Hampton Roads for ! From Midnight to Midnight on Tuesday, May 5, you have the chance to maximize your donation by helping WTFC win cash incentive challenge prizes. How? Set a reminder to make your donation on May 5, between 4pm – 6pm. That will put us in a drawing to win an extra $400 if we receive the most donations during that time.

The countdown is on! will be here in three weeks, so mark your calendars for Tuesday, May 5 from Midnight to Midnight. Everyone has the chance to be a philanthropist by participating in this regional day of giving when Western Tidewater Free Clinic joins over 200 nonprofits celebrating living local and giving local in the 757. Thanks to your support, we raised over $2,000 last year and we are hoping you can help us get over $3,000 this year, which will cover the annual cost of comprehensive healthcare for almost 2 of your neighbors! Yesterday, we had the distinct pleasure of hosting George Birdsong, President of the Birdsong Health Literacy Center of Excellence and CEO, General Counsel of Birdsong Peanuts and Tom Chamberlain, PharmD, founder and CEO of EdLogics. They toured our Clinic and engaged in a discussion with our Executive Director, Ashley Owen Greene, about Healthier757’s Rewards for Healthy Living. The program is an engaging digital platform that transforms health education into fun games, quizzes, videos, and more. It was a fantastic opportunity to gain insight into the program and how it can benefit our staff, volunteers and the patients we serve. Thank you for your time, George and Tom!
