This week, Reentry & Recovery Alliance (RRA) in collaboration with P.A.T.C.H. (Prisoners Against Teen Criminal Habits) is supporting meaningful work at LVCC tied to the Self Destruction / Stop the Violence movement, a revamp focused on bringing real awareness to gun violence in our communities.

The LVCC portion of the music video will be filmed this Thursday.

RRA and P.A.T.C.H. oversaw the selection of 90 residents from the facility to appear in the video—voices rooted in lived experience and accountability.

The organizations also selected Roy Fincher and Poetic to deliver the Daddy-O / Wise & D-Nice verse, grounding the message in truth, responsibility, and growth.

To support the men involved, RRA and P.A.T.C.H. are also providing:

🍕 Pizza for everyone on the compound
👕 125 Stop the Violence shirts for the men featured in the video

This work is about prevention, ownership, and changing the narrative around violence by centering those who understand the consequences firsthand.

Proud of the collaboration. Focused on impact.

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Veterans 🇺🇸

Today we honor every man and woman who has worn the uniform and served this country with courage, sacrifice, and pride. Your strength, discipline, and resilience continue to inspire us all.

At Reentry & Recovery Alliance, we’re especially proud to recognize two members of our leadership team, Co-Founder Samuel Harris (U.S. Army Veteran) and Secretary Dexter Raysor (U.S. Navy Veteran).

Their dedication is the driving force behind The Barracks, our veteran-focused reentry and recovery initiative providing stable housing, peer support, and purpose for justice-involved Veterans.

Your service didn’t end with the military, it continues every day through the work you do to uplift others.

From all of us at RRA, thank you to all who served and continue to serve in new ways. 💙❤️🤍

🎥 A Story of Redemption and Purpose

We’re so proud of our Co-Founder, Sam Harris, for using his lived experience to create change and inspire others walking the reentry path.

After decades behind bars, Sam’s journey is a powerful reminder that it’s never too late to rebuild, lead, and give back. His first job after incarceration isn’t just employment, it’s purpose in action.

This is what recovery and reentry done right looks like. 🙌🏽

💬 Real Conversations. Real Impact.

Our very own Sam Harris, Co-Founder of Reentry & Recovery Alliance, sat down for a powerful conversation about purpose, healing, and the journey from incarceration to advocacy.
