Beth’s Style:
Beth uses humor as well as direct, honest, & caring communication. As a Christian, she provides a welcoming & non-judgmental atmosphere. Beth employs a variety of research based techniques in sessions.
Meet Beth Plachetka:
Beth became a Licensed clinical social worker in 1999 and certified school social worker 1997. She also draws on her 22 years of teaching experience (grades 4-12) as well as 5 years as a high school youth minister. In addition, Beth previously worked with community mental health agencies and as a social worker in the police department. Beth currently is completing a dissertation on workplace bullying.
Beth’s experience as teacher and school social worker allow her to decode procedures and policies related to structuring lesson plans, classroom management. She can help facilitate understanding of special education, IEP’s (individualized education plans), RtI (response to intervention), problem-solving, and behavior plans.
