After completing his residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital-Dallas, TX in 1985, Dr. LaBanc began his career at the University of Florida in Gainesville, specializing in microneurosurgical repair of trigeminal nerve injuries, craniofacial reconstructive surgery, and facial aesthetic surgery. Transitioning to the U.S. Navy in 1998, he focused on orthognathic and facial aesthetic surgery. During his deployment to Iraq, he developed a passion for operational trauma care, later consulting with the Navy Health Research Institute on maxillofacial injuries and resuscitative care.
Dr. LaBanc is recognized internationally for his expertise in humanitarian assistance, combat trauma care, and reconstructive surgery. He is affiliated with the American Dental Association, American Association of OMS, and is a diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. LaBanc practices out of our Sugar Hill and Sugarloaf offices.
