We had the best time getting creative with beads, string, and lots of laughter. From picking just the right colors to showing off finished masterpieces, this craft was full of smiles, focus, and a whole lot of heart.

Groundhog Day fun at Grand Living Riverstone! ☀️🐾

Our residents had an absolute blast celebrating Groundhog Day with a full lineup of festive activities! From adorable temporary groundhog tattoos and handmade bracelets, to trivia, word searches, and plenty of laughs along the way — it was a day full of smiles and connection.

We love finding creative ways to celebrate the little moments and make each day meaningful. Shadow or no shadow, today was definitely a bright one at Riverstone! 🌸✨

Yesterday, our community gathered to honor and reflect on the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., beginning our celebration by watching his powerful and timeless “I Have a Dream” speech. It set a meaningful tone of reflection, hope, and purpose for the day.
We were deeply privileged to hear from one of our residents, Mr. William Minter, who shared personal memories of Dr. King. Mr. Minter was not only a personal friend, but also attended church under Dr. King’s pastoral leadership. He also shared that his wife worked closely with Dr. King, helping to write some of his speeches, and was a dear friend of Mrs. Coretta Scott King as well.
Listening to these firsthand stories reminded us that history is not only found in books, but also lives within the people among us. We are incredibly grateful to Mr. Minter for trusting us with these memories and for allowing us to learn from his life experiences.
We concluded our time together by joining voices and hearts in singing “God Bless America,” a moment of unity, reflection, and hope that beautifully captured the spirit of the day.
May we continue to honor Dr. King’s legacy through compassion, understanding, and love for one another. 💙

✨ Grand Showcase Highlight! ✨
We had an incredible time welcoming Evan from Tech on Demand for a meaningful and informative workshop focused on scam awareness for seniors. 💻🔐
Evan led a wonderful discussion on how to recognize scams, stay safe online, and protect personal information. What truly made the experience special was the time he spent one-on-one with our residents, patiently answering questions and making sure everyone felt confident and informed. ❤️
And as if that wasn’t enough—he even treated everyone to Crumbl cookies 🍪, which were a huge hit!
Thank you, Evan and Tech on Demand, for your knowledge, kindness, and dedication to keeping our residents safe and empowered. We’re so grateful for partnerships like this! 👏😊

What a fantastic kickoff to our new Domino Club! 🁫🁬
The Riverstone Room was full, and the energy was even fuller as residents gathered today, eager to learn, laugh, and play. It was wonderful to see so many smiles and hear the excitement as the dominoes started moving.
A huge shout out to the daughters and granddaughter of our awesome resident Mr. Howe for coming out to teach us, share their time, and get the dominoes tumbling. We couldn’t have asked for better instructors or a better first day!
We’re so excited to see this club grow—game on! 🎉

What a wonderful lunch outing today at Spring Creek Barbecue in Missouri City! 🥩🍞 We enjoyed delicious food, great company, and lots of laughter around the table. A huge shout-out to the amazing staff for taking such great care of us—friendly, patient, and always with a smile. Everything was absolutely delicious, from the barbecue to the sides (and those rolls 😋). Thank you, Spring Creek, for making our time together so special. We’ll definitely be back! ❤️👫🍽️

What an unforgettable day! 🌊✨
Our first Grand Showcase of 2026 was a huge success, featuring Resident Dave Pasta, The Bermuda Triangle, and the mysterious Lost City of Atlantis. The theater was absolutely packed, and the stories were nothing short of riveting—from start to finish, the audience was spellbound.
A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Pasta for bringing the magic, the mystery, and the momentum that made this event so special. This was just the beginning, and we can’t wait to do it again!

What a blessing it was to host our very first Gospel Sing-Along! We were so honored to be joined by our wonderful guests from Sugar Land Bible Church
The room was filled with joyful voices, heartfelt praise, and a powerful sense of unity. Thank you to everyone who came out to sing, worship, and fellowship with us — it truly made the day special.
We’re grateful for the fellowship and look forward to many more moments like this! 🙌🎵

What a wonderful way to kick things off! 🌮💛
Our first lunch outing of 2026 at El Fogón Mexican Kitchen was a huge success! From the moment we walked in, Sergio and his amazing team went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for. The service was top-notch, the atmosphere was warm and festive, and the food was absolutely outstanding—every bite was delicious!
So many smiles, great conversation, and full hearts (and stomachs!). We’re already looking forward to the next outing. A big thank you to Sergio and the entire El Fogón team for making our first lunch together so special. 🌟🍹🇲🇽
