TEXAS HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL HALL OF FAME 2026
The Class of 2026 will be inducted into the Texas High School Basketball Hall of
Fame at the spring TABC Clinic. This year’s class includes Jeff Bell, Donna
Capps, Jerry Cassell, Derrick Daniels, Tai Dillard, Karl Godine, Karen
Aulenbacher-Heintz and Sara Hinkley Watkins. This deserving group of Texas
legends will be inducted during the Hall of Fame banquet in the ballroom at the
Doubletree by Hilton - San Antonio Airport Hotel on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at
6:00 pm. Tickets are now on sale on the TABC website at www.tabchoops.org.

A MESSAGE FROM OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Congratulations to all of the Basketball State Champions throughout the State of
Texas! What an awesome accomplishment for the players, fans, coaches,
administration, and community!
The TABC Clinic will be held May 7-9, 2026, at St. Mary’s University and The
Doubletree By Hilton San Antonio Airport. (Host hotel). All-Star Games will be
held at Paul Taylor Fieldhouse on Thursday (Boys) and Friday (Girls), at 5 and 7
pm.

Registration for the Girl’s and Boy’s Showcases are now open at tabchoops.org.
We just had our first 100 teams to sign-up, 51 girls’ teams and 49 boys’ teams.
Nearly 900 teams are expected to sign up between the girls’ and boys’ teams.
Deadline to sign up is when the events are full. Last year, we had 262 girl’s teams
and 522 boy’s teams to participate.

Do not wait until the last minute. Once they are full, they are full.

Also, please look at the list of approved TABC hotels found at tabchoops.org.
There will be significant savings and information found there. Remember, the FIFA
World Cup Soccer will also be going on in the Metroplex during that time so a lot
of the hotel prices may be higher than usual. Check out the TABC approved
hotels, first!
