The amazing Diwali 🪔 celebrations at BAPs .. NA 2nd largest temple completed in 2004 at a cost of 7 million USD. There was an exhibition by the BAPs student volunteers - very educational!!! And full of colors and pictures. The Pramukh Guruji( head priest- there is pic of me with him ) himself is a highly educated degree holder in Engineering. Only 40 yrs old. The temple itself was built out of marble brought out of Italy , was carved by 1000 + stone artists in Rajasthan , India in 33,000 pieces and then shipped out to Houston . Then assembled up here in record time of 28 months with assistance of a massive number of volunteers . A Total commitment, connection and completion - we at TIC need to learn and support the community of Sugar Land and Houston , just like these BAPs devotees and volunteers do every day, every year. Special credits to our close friends : Dr Siddharth Dave and Mrs Sejal Dave and Mr Kalpesh Patel for giving us a VIP tour of everything .
