ACOG states that COVID-19 vaccines should not be withheld from pregnant and lactating women who meet criteria for vaccination based on ACIP recommended priority groups. COVID-19 vaccines should therefore be offered to this group of women. First tier or priority group at this time includes hospital/long term care/home health staff directly working with patients, EMS providers and residents of long term care facilities.

This ACOG Practice Advisory addresses Vaccinating Pregnant and Lactating Patients Against COVID-19.
