For Denali — A Faithful Companion
Heavenly Father,
With grateful hearts, we thank You
for the gift of Denali—
a beautiful soul wrapped in fur,
sent to walk beside us for a sacred season.
For 13 years and 7 months,
she showed us what love looks like—
steady, unending, and without condition.
She carried joy into our days,
peace into our storms,
patience into our waiting,
and gentleness into every touch.
She served with quiet strength,
with loyalty that never wavered,
with a spirit that reflected Your goodness.
A true companion…
a protector…
a healer…
a member of our family and Team Meridian.
Lord, we release her back to You now—
knowing she has earned her wings,
whole, restored, and running free.
May she rest in green pastures,
where there is no pain, no fear, no suffering—
only light, warmth, and Your presence.
And as we grieve,
comfort our hearts with the promise
that love never ends.
Denali,
you have not left us—
you have simply gone ahead,
preparing the way
until we are together again.
Thank You, Lord,
for the blessing of her life…
and the imprint of love she leaves behind.
