AMBUCS Veteran Initiative Grant Opportunity

National AMBUCS is now accepting Veteran Initiative grant applications from chapters through March 15, 2026.

Each chapter is eligible to apply for one free Amtryke. If awarded, the Amtryke and essential accessories will be fully covered at 100%, including shipping. Chapters will not be invoiced for the Amtryke or essential items.

Please note:
• Resources are limited and submission does not guarantee an award
• Non-essential accessories (baskets, water bottles, license plates, speedometers, etc.) are the responsibility of the chapter if desired

Amtryke for Ellison was a total surprise to her tonight. But, she knew what to do ... put on the helmet and ride. Ellison rode so well she surprised them, and amazed her whole family. Great ride.

What has AMBUCS been up to lately ... Amtrykes ... three wheel adaptive trykes for kids and adults that need extra support. Recently the members assembled the new Paceline model of Amtrykes to deliver to kids waiting for that set of wheels that fits just right. Do YOU know someone who would could ride if there was one more wheel ... send us a message and we will provide them an application. More mobility and independence is our goal.

Sullivan AMBUCS assembled and presented amtrykes to two families last week. Amtrykes are those adaptive trykes for amazing people. More independence and mobility ... and kids on wheels ... doesn't get any better than that.
