We transformed a pumpkin into a culinary delight recently and wanted to showcase our creations. We also prepared roasted pumpkin seeds and are grateful for the dietary team that allowed us to utilize their kitchen facilities, despite the chaos that often accompanies our gatherings. We extend our sincere appreciation to Chef Wilma and Chef Becky for consistently participating in our activities and enhancing our enjoyment during whatever is happening in the moment!

What a way to celebrate 🍎 🍏Apple Day 🍎 🍏 !
This afternoon we celebrated in FULL force all Apple, the Sullivan Pointe way...interesting 🤣!
It takes about 36 apples to create one gallon of apple cider! We made wassail to drink! Accompanied by a warm Cinnamon Carmel drizzle Dutch Apple Pie 🥧 🍏 💛
Up next was a flight of unique flavored apple sauces!
Up first was THE magical Unicorn 🦄 Applesauce (light purple) 💜, next was a tasty 💙 Cotton Candy Applesauce (pink) 🩷, followed up by a perfectly 🍑 Peach Ring Applesauce (light orange) 🧡, then lastly a splashing 🧜‍♀️ Mermaid Applesauce (tealish green) 💚 that was sure to take anyone on a delightful journey.
After our tasty treats we moved on over to our bean bag toss to see who was a real mvp at apple chucking.
The results showed that Sheila & Brittany can not hit the buckets from far away, however because they throw too hard!
Our residents did pretty well but turns out Carla isn't just great at Housekeeping, but also🎯 best out of us all during our game!
