Neary Jr., naturopathic physician, has been in private practice since receiving his ND degree from Bastyr University in 1996. Dr. Neary received his bachelors degree in Human Health Sciences from Bastyr University after completion of undergraduate course work at both Everett Community College and the University of Washington. Dr. Neary is currently an associate professor and the Chair of the Physical Medicine Department in the School of Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr University where he has served for the past ten years. In addition he is currently a clinical supervisor at Bastyr University’s teaching clinic, Bastyr Center for Natural Health, in Seattle. He was a member of the adjunct faculty at Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine for three years in the late nineties prior to its closure. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians (WANP). Dr. Neary was a contributing author of the first ever “Textbook of Naturopathic Medicine” published by Elsevier. He has been interviewed numerous times on a variety of medical topics by both local and national electronic and print media sources. Dr. Neary’s clinical passion lies in the art, science, and practice of the physical medicine modalities as well as the treatment of a variety of “endocrine” disorders. He is highly skilled in joint manipulation, soft tissue evaluation/treatment, and numerous physiotherapy modalities such as therapeutic ultrasound, NMES/TENS therapies, diathermy, low level laser therapy, and various hydrotherapies. He loves the opportunity to assist individuals who are struggling with the signs/symptoms associated with conditions/issues such as; hypothyroidism, chronic fatigue, MS, menopause, metabolic syndrome, hyperlipidemia (high cholesterol), blood sugar disorders (diabetes), hypertension, and weight gain. Dr. Neary has also received training in the practice of various intravenous (IV) therapies. Dr. Neary lives in Monroe and enjoys the simple pleasures of spending time with family and friends, as well as all of the activities the great outdoors have to offer. Dr. Dominika Zajdel Neary, naturopathic physician, received her undergraduate degree in social psychology at Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA. During her time at the university, she worked as a patient care representative for PeaceHealth Hospitals and discovered her passion for helping others find their path to wellness. She obtained her Naturopathic Medicine degree at Bastyr University and completed a year of clinical residency at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health in Seattle, where she is currently serving as adjunct faculty. While Dr. Dominika specializes in women’s health, digestive issues, food allergies and detoxification, she practices naturopathic family medicine and welcomes everyone, regardless of age or medical condition. She is a highly motivated and compassionate health care practitioner who is committed to helping her patients obtain their health goals and experience life without limitations. She is dedicated to educating, empowering and accompanying patients on their journey towards optimal health. Dr. Dominika’s fundamental treatment philosophy is to “use the least force necessary” and she believes in providing personalized integrative medical care to each unique individual. Dr. Dominika lives in Monroe and enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, and learning to fly fish. She also loves reading and a good cup of coffee. She’s fluent in Polish and spent the first 7 years of her life in the country, landing in the United States after a 2 year stint in Italy.
