Yesterday I had the opportunity to be part of a World Tai Chi & Qi Gong event with several local instructors—and one thing really stood out…
Even though our styles looked a little different, the foundation was exactly the same.
And it reminded me of something I struggled with when I first started…
Slowing down.
I’ve always been someone who moves quickly, so Tai Chi felt surprisingly hard at first. But learning to slow down ended up being one of the most valuable skills—not just in Tai Chi, but for balance, safety, and everyday movement.
If you’ve ever felt like ‘slow movement can’t possibly be enough’… it might actually be exactly what your body needs.
👉 Curious about trying it? I have a beginner class starting soon in Greensboro — message me or comment ‘TAI CHI’ and I’ll send details.
