This 45-minute, feel-good mobility session is designed for women who want to move better, loosen up, and stop feeling like their body is fighting them every time they bend, twist, or get up off the floor.

🔽 How to Set Up a Solid Squat
✔️ Feet shoulder-width apart
✔️ Toes slightly turned out
✔️ Core gently braced (like zipping up snug jeans)
✔️ Chest tall, shoulders relaxed

🔁 How to Perform the Squat
1️⃣ Sit hips back like you’re reaching for a chair
2️⃣ Knees track over toes
3️⃣ Lower only as far as you can with control
4️⃣ Drive through heels to stand
5️⃣ Squeeze glutes at the top (no knee lockout)

🕒 Start with 2–3 sets of 8–12 reps

Ummm yes, when you’ve been eating like you’re 20 years old and not prioritizing movement.
*gasp!*
It’s ok to relax a little, but boy I reeeeally relaxed.
I feel it in my body (bloaty, not sleeping well and my clothes are tight)
In my joints. Oh lord the joints are aching!
And in my mind. Guilt consumes me - leftover from years of eating my emotions - and even feeling a little bummed out. Depressed.

🎯 Top 3 Reasons Women Skip the Weights — and What’s Really Up

1. Feeling intimidated, out of place — gym culture ain’t always welcoming
Many women report feeling self-conscious or unwelcome in the free-weight/weights area of the gym. It often feels like a “boys’ club,” where women may worry about being judged, stared at, or not fitting in.
Intimidation comes from fear of looking “inexperienced” or “clumsy,” especially in a space dominated by men.
Reality check: You don’t owe anyone gym-approval — your body, your rules. The weight room is for you too. 💪

2. Lack of knowledge or confidence — “I don’t even know where to start”
Studies show women are much more likely than men to skip free weights because they’re unsure how to handle them.

Let’s get one thing straight — being sore isn’t the goal. Getting stronger is. 💪

We’ve all had those days after a tough workout where walking up the stairs feels like a leg-day crime scene 😅 — and sure, that soreness can make you feel like you crushed it.
But here’s the truth: soreness ≠ success.

Soreness simply means your body experienced a new stimulus — not necessarily that you trained better or harder.
As you get stronger (and smarter about your recovery), your body becomes more efficient. You might not feel wrecked afterward, but you’re still building lean muscle, protecting your bones, and boosting your metabolism. 🔥

Here’s what really matters instead:
✅ Progressive overload (gradually lifting heavier or moving with more control)
✅ Proper form and muscle engagement
