"Our investigation into craters began with a single question: 'What would happen if we dropped a rock on the moon?'.

Following the Reggio Emilia philosophy, we provided open-ended materials like sand, flour, and a variety of 'meteorites' (different-sized balls and stones). The children explored cause and effect, observing how the size and speed of the object changed the resulting crater.

Their observations, conversations, and theories shaped the entire learning process.

They stacked translucent cubes to see how far the light could travel through their creations! 💡🧠
