Something magical is happening in our kitchen at Wildcat Senior Living ✨👩‍🍳

Our residents had a wonderful time at the latest cooking demo with Chef Eileen, where delicious recipes, laughter, and a little bit of surprise filled the room. But the best part? The big reveal! 🎉

April’s community theme will be inspired by The Wizard of Oz 🌈👠

That means a month full of fun activities, themed events, classic movie moments, and maybe even a few sweet treats that would make Dorothy proud. Our cooking demo gave everyone a first taste of the adventure to come!

🌟 Wildcat Team Member of the Month: Luna 🌟

This month we are proud to celebrate one of our wonderful concierge team members, Luna.

Born and raised in Charleston, Luna is a proud Palestinian American whose family story is rooted in resilience and determination. Growing up between cultures shaped her into the compassionate and driven person she is today, and she proudly speaks Arabic fluently, allowing her to connect with people across generations and backgrounds.

Luna’s passion for healthcare began after helping care for her father following two heart attacks. Witnessing the dedication of medical professionals during that time inspired her to pursue a career in medicine. Today, she is majoring in Public Health and working toward her goal of becoming a cardiologist.

When she is not working or studying, Luna enjoys playing pickleball, reading, fishing, and spending time outdoors. Her favorite color is purple, and she brings warmth and kindness to our community every day.

At Wildcat Senior Living, we are grateful for Luna’s heart, dedication, and the joy she brings to our residents.

🌟 Wildcat Resident of the Month: Doris 🌟

For more than 40 years, Doris devoted her life to caring for others as a nurse in family medicine and OB/GYN. Known for her compassion, wisdom, and calming presence, Doris helped countless people feel supported and cared for throughout her career.

Outside of nursing, Doris has always had a competitive spirit. She played softball, was an avid bowler, and even earned a place in the South Carolina Bowler’s Association Hall of Fame.

While she has held many roles in life—nurse, athlete, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother—her favorite title is “Nanny.”

We are honored to have Doris as part of the Wildcat family and proud to celebrate her this month.

🐾💙 A Very Special Visitor at Wildcat Today! 💙🐾

This morning we had the pleasure of welcoming MUSC Health therapy dog, Asher Lambchop, and his wonderful owner Tracy to spend time with our residents.

Asher was such a good boy, making his way around the community giving gentle cuddles, wagging his tail, and bringing smiles to everyone he met. From the moment he walked in, the joy in the room was undeniable.

Moments like these remind us how powerful companionship can be. The laughter, the stories shared about beloved pets, and the simple comfort of a furry friend created such a special start to the day.

Thank you, Asher and Tracy, for bringing so much happiness to our Wildcat family. We cannot wait to have you visit again soon! 🐶✨
