Alonzo Harris is Delta Bud’s Assitant grower. Without him, we would not be able to offer some of Mississippi’s best medicine.

Alonzo is a born and bred Mississippian making his home town folks proud to call him their own. He graduated from McComb High School after spending his youth on the baseball diamond. That took him straight from high school all the way to the New York Mets where he was drafted straight out of high school.

Alonzo enjoyed an 18 year career in professional baseball which took him all over the world. He is a Hall of Fame LMB Player who happened to be the first to 30/30/30 and had 39 Home Runs, 45 Stolen Bases and 36 doubles. Alonzo is also an avid outdoorsman, he enjoys hunting, fishing, & spending time in nature. Our days at Delta Bud are full of stories of 10lb bass, 10 point bucks, & Alonzo’s accounts of his outdoor adventures.

Alonzo joined the DBC team in 2023 during his off seasons. In 2025, after retirement Alonzo started full time with Delta Bud Co pursuing a career in cultivation. We are proud to have Alonzo as one of our own. We love having our own local, hometown celebrity bringing his passion to our team.

Our crew goes above and beyond to provide the best plant based medicine to the patients of Mississippi. Many of you noticed huge improvements in our quality, packaging, & trimming of our bud over the last year and our Operations Manager & Post Harvest Supervisor is where credit is due!

Meet our Operations Manager & Post Harvest Supervisor Grace Slipher, she is a born and raised Mississippian and the middle daughter of owners Joey and LeeAnn Slipher. She is a graduate of Parklane Academy in McComb, ms and attended Louisiana State University. While in Baton Rouge, she gained years of experience working in the service industry. After attending LSU, she decided to come back home and help operate the family business.
In November 2024, Grace joined the team as the operations manager for Delta Bud Company. She is very meticulous and obsessive about details. This made her the perfect fit as our operations manager. Her detailed nature is extremely crucial to the trimming, packaging and delivering of all that beautiful Delta Bud Company bud to the patients of Mississippi. She has proven to be crucial to the Delta Bud Company dream.
In her spare time, Grace enjoys riding and showing paint horses in the National Reined Cow Horse Association. She was also a member of the Mississippi High School Rodeo Association and the American Paint Horse Association.

Our crew goes above and beyond to provide the best plant based medicine to the patients of Mississippi. None of that is possible without the main person behind the wheel, the head grower!

Meet our Head Grower & Director of Cultivation, Spencer James. He is born and raised a Mississippian where he grew up in Ackerman and his family still resides. Spencer attended Mississippi State University where he would receive his bachelor’s degree in Agronomy with a concentration on integrated crop management.
After achieving his undergraduate degree, Spencer worked the next two years at North Farms at Mississippi State University with Dr. Ted Wallace, an exceptional cotton breeder. When Mississippi passed the medical ma*****na legislation, Spencer took his knowledge and in 2022 he became the cultivator for another medical cannabis cultivator. He spent an additional two years there.
In 2024, Spencer became Delta Bud Company family and has been cultivating some of the best Medical Ma*****na that Mississippi has to offer. Spencer is married to Amber James and they just welcomed their first child, son, Teddy James.
