Atlantic Health is advancing heart care with new technology designed to detect cardiovascular disease in often-overlooked blood vessels of the heart.

The CoroFlow Cardiovascular System with PressureWire, funded by the Overlook Foundation, is now available at Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center and will soon be introduced at Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center.

This innovative tool provides a comprehensive assessment of coronary physiology, helping more patients with chest pain syndromes receive the care they need. https://bit.ly/46HjEsP

This week we celebrated Sheronda, one of our team members in the Stacy Goldstein Breast Center, with a Gift of Gratitude award - a moment made possible by a patient who chose to make a gift to support our medical center and honor the caregiver who meant so much to her.

In one of her most vulnerable moments, Sheronda was the calm, reassuring presence this patient needed. That kindness stayed with her, and she wanted Sheronda to know it. That’s the heart of our Gift of Gratitude program: creating a way for patients and families to say “thank you” while supporting the care that helps our whole community.

This holiday season, we’re grateful to spotlight just a few of the incredible Gift-in-Kind donations received in December. Scrub Club at Arthur L. Johnson High School donated thoughtful goodie bags for the Carol G. Simon Cancer Center team members; Crafts for Kindness at Chatham High School shared creative craft kits with the Children’s Center; and Michele Nargi generously donated toys, books, and games to bring joy to young patients.
