We mailed out 40 holiday greeting cards to individuals on the list! 🎄🎁❤️🌠

Our therapists created holiday cards during sessions with our kiddos when appropriate, and our staff members also contributed to the pile. Kindness and warmth go a long way during the holiday season - if we can help someone feel remembered and cared for during this time, we’re truly happy to do so.

We had a blast at the Sensory Santa event held by for families who like a little bit more of a quieter session with the big guy!🎅🏽🧑‍🎄🤶🎄🌲 We even got to meet the very charming and talented artist ! Justin’s drawings and illustrations demonstrate the intensity and perspective of the autistic mind and serve as a powerful form of communication. Check him out! 🎨🖌️

Learning and growing is a huge part of our culture at CSS!🌱Last night, our Speech-Language Pathologists and Occupational Therapists came together for our monthly in-service. OT focused on empowering families with home-carryover strategies, while SLPs dove into hands-on AAC programming practice. Grateful for a team that learns from each other, asks questions, and continually strengthens the care we provide for our kiddos and families.💛

Ugly Holiday Sweater Teen Night was a BLAST! 🌟🎉💚 Huge shoutout to our amazing staff and teen helpers for making the night unforgettable! Teen Nights at CSS give our teens a safe, fun space to hang out, make friends, and just be themselves - and we’re big fans. Each event gets its own theme, complete with decorations, snacks, and games. Last Friday’s Ugly Holiday Sweater Night brought out ALL the creativity and silliness, and we loved every minute of it! 🎄🧣✨

- describing (i.e., “I see a food that is yellow, a vegetable, and can be eaten without a fork”)

✨ Angel Card Project ✨

CSS is proud to spread holiday cheer again this year! We’re joining the Angel Card Project to deliver handwritten cards to seniors, individuals who are ill, military service members, and anyone who could use a little extra love this season.

💌WHAT TO DO: Pick up a card in our waiting areas - you can complete it while waiting to go into session or while your child is in session - and return it to the front office. Last day to submit cards: December 12! ❤️

Our Munch & Mingle group is a fun, play-based feeding group for toddlers ages 2–4, designed to support little ones with picky eating, sensory food aversions, and mealtime struggles.

Led by licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (Kelly) and Occupational Therapists (Zoe), this 1-hour group uses evidence-based techniques from the SOS Approach to Feeding. Through playful, low-pressure activities, toddlers explore new foods, build mealtime confidence, and have fun doing it!

October is AAC Awareness Month - and at Creative Speech Solutions, this month holds deep meaning for us as Speech-Language Pathologists & Occupational Therapists.
