Summit Oaks Hospital was honored to sponsor the Brilliance Foundation’s Mental Health Awareness Seminar, held at the United Nations Turkish House in New York City. Our Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Sadir Qadir (pictured), delivered a powerful and insightful presentation on mental health, stigma and the importance of education, particularly for teens and young adults.

Her remarks sparked meaningful dialogue among the expert panel and attendees, including many Rutgers University students who participated in a dynamic Q&A session.

On October 10, our Summit Oaks team came together for a day of reflection, connection and self-care, celebrating the importance of mental health for everyone, including those who care for others.

We spent time outdoors on our beautiful hospital grounds enjoying team-building activities, meaningful conversations and a few fun moments with henna tattoos, yoga and healthy smoothies. These experiences served as a reminder that nurturing our own well-being helps us continue to provide compassionate care to those who need it most. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day possible.
