👋🏼Welcome Wednesday👋🏼

Please help us welcome Jo Ann Spears, M.S., CCC-SLP to our Speech Therapy Team! Jo Ann received both her Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from The University of Southern Mississippi. She has over 30 years of experience working with all age groups across multiple settings including hospital inpatient, acute care, outpatient, nursing home, rehab center, Head Start, daycares, and schools.

Jo Ann lives in McComb with her husband, Jason. They have four children - Jake, Jami, Joli, and Josi. She and her family are members of First Baptist Church Summit. Jo Ann loves traveling and spending time with family and friends. Her favorite spot involves a beach and waves.

When asked why she chose The Summit Health and Rehab, Jo Ann responded, “The Summit was just the right place at the right time for this season of my life. With a great reputation and many familiar faces, the choice to join the family at The Summit Rehab was easy and has been such a blessing. I love children so much, but to also be able to work with adults again has been very rewarding. There is a very friendly environment here with great teammates and supportive staff members.”

Jo Ann is a significant asset to our team and a blessing to her patients. We are so happy you chose us, Jo Ann! 💚

To our sweet Madalyn who recently graduated from Physical Therapy! She worked hard to gain confidence and greater balance/stability for ambulation and surface transitions. We are so proud of her progress, but will miss her smiling face and fabulous outfits! 🎉

🎄Oh, What Fun🎄

We had last week!

🎅🏼 We participated in the Summit Christmas Parade.
🎅🏼 Ronnie represented us well in the K106 Kares Bike Race, costume and all.
🎅🏼 We contributed to the K106 Kares Toy Drive. (Huge thank you to those who donated!)
🎅🏼 We celebrated the season with our annual Christmas Party.

It was quite a busy but rewarding week.
