Community Memorial Hospital (CMH) is located in Sumner, IA. CMH opened its doors on January 1, 1950 and continues to serve patients from several rural communities located in Bremer, Fayette, and Chickasaw counties. Since its beginning, CMH has remained a nonprofit private facility that receives no financial support from either municipal or county tax dollars. CMH is a member of UnityPoint Health. CMH is a full service hospital offering 24/7 Emergency Care, CMH Medical Clinic, Surgery, Laboratory, Radiology, Inpatient Care, Therapy Services (Physical, Occupation, and Speech Therapy, Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab, Anticoagulation Clinic, Respiratory Therapy and Sleep Lab, Cardiopulmonary Therapy, Diabetes Management, and Dietary Consultation), Specialty Outpatient Clinics (Audiology, Cardiology, General Surgery, Oncology & Hematology, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology - Cataracts, Pain Clinic, and Podiatry).
