The Jr Civitan Club did a fantastic job today bringing gifts, kindness and love to the residents! These students are a shining example that great young people still exist! They bring so much joy when they come visit and we are so grateful for their generosity.

UPDATE: The residents had a hard time making a decision on their favorite tree! They kept saying “they’re ALL so pretty but in the end the Gingerbread Tree from Agape WON by only 1 vote! (I had to get a resident to do the tiebreaker) It was a close call between that one and Pathways tree!

Facebook viewers chose the Hot Chocolate tree as their favorite by VIA Health!

We are so thankful for everything our sweet hospice companies do for our residents! That’s what really makes them ALL Winners!

We want to give a huge shout out to a few our Hospice groups! They have truly helped us make things a little more festive around the Gardens! Agape did a beautiful tree with a Gingerbread theme with real cookies to match for the residents to enjoy, Pathway did a lovely tree and brought Santa for a visit with treats for everyone, VIA Health did a delicious looking tree trimmed with a hot cocoa theme accompanied by a fully stocked hot cocoa bar and last but not least Sunrise did a gorgeous tree decked out in red berries and cardinals. These wonderful ladies went above and beyond to bring great holiday spirit to our residents and community! Thank you for ALL you do for our friends at the Gardens at Sumter, not just for Christmas but everyday! We appreciate the great love you show and the care services you provide! Always willing to help in any way you can!

Tiffany from Pathway hospice brought us a special visitor this morning! What a thrill it was to see the reaction of pure joy on every face of the staff and residents in our community! I can't thank both Santa and Tiffany enough for going above and beyond in showing so much love.

Westside Baptist Middle School Youth Group did a fabulous job sharing the Christmas Story and singing carols to the residents. The love and joy they showed was simply beautiful! May God bless them greatly for using their time and talents for such a selfless act of kindness.
