It’s open enrollment season for Medicare. There are lots of ads on TV making all kinds of promises. I asked Chat GPT to compare traditional Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans. With $30-45 copays, I often describe Medicare Advantage plans as providing “phantom benefits”. My advice, stay with Traditional Medicare.

We normally see patients the morning before Thanksgiving. We decided not to today. Apparently this happened with someone avoiding the police. We’re thankful that no one was in our parking lot when this happened.

It’s open season for Medicine enrollment. For most Medicare Advantage plans, I describe Chiropractic benefits as a “phantom benefit.” In other words, the copay is most of the cost of a typical visit. When Mayo no longer takes Medicare Advantage plans, you should ask why?

Pillow height, or loft, is important to maintaining proper sleep posture and preventing neck pain. The left column shows improper pillow height for back sleepers, side sleepers and stomach sleepers, respectively. The right column demonstrates the proper pillow height for a neutral spine for each sleeping position.
