For many years, Dr. McGinnis has been actively involved in shaping the chiropractic profession through leadership and service. His work with the SCCA, ACA, SC Board of Chiropractic Examiners, NBCE and FCLB has focused on patient access, advocacy, professional standards, and responsible evidence- informed care. Dr. McGinnis’s advocacy and leadership is part of the fiber that makes us who we are.

I had the honor and privilege of serving as Chiropractic Physician of the Day at the South Carolina Statehouse. 🇺🇸

Our legislators and staff put in long hours doing detailed, demanding work that requires constant focus and thoughtful policy decisions. I was grateful for the opportunity to provide on-site chiropractic care—helping them find relief without having to step away from their responsibilities.

It’s always rewarding to support those who serve our state.

Friday I had the privilege of speaking with the residents at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital about the role Chiropractic Physicians play in an integrative care model.
What an impressive group-sharp, engaged, and asking thoughtful, clinically relevant questions about collaboration, patient outcomes, and whole-person care. Conversations like these are exactly how we bridge disciplines and elevate patient-centered care. I’m grateful for the opportunity and look forward to continuing the dialogue.
