Celebrate Recovery of Sumter SC A faith based 12 step program to help with issues like drugs, alcohol, relationships, smoking, anger We meet every Friday night.

Celebrate Recovery is a 12 Step faith based program for help with addictions such as drugs, alcohol, relationship issues, smoking, anger, codependency, food addictions, sexual addictions, esteem issues, and more. This is a safe environment and all information shared in meetings is confidential. Dinner is from 6pm to 7pm ($5 food donation is requested); a large group meeting is held from 7pm to 8pm; and then we break into small discussion groups pertaining to individual issues.

I know, I know, again?
Yes. That important. I was reminded yet again on Friday night that there are people that feel all alone...that no one cares.
Please reach out to someone that struggles. Mental illness is very real. I've known too many people now that convinced themselves that ending their lives was truly a viable option. Think about that. That their minds went to such a dark place that this was their way out.
If you have to, drag these people to help. Anything you need to do. Because when that person is gone, they're not coming back.
Would you do that? Would you try to reach that person that hurts?
