Over the weekend, Sun City Center funeral home was able to honor the families served this past year in our 2025 Christmas remembrance ceremony.

Today was a meaningful grief gathering hosted by Terri Chaplin, and we were honored to have her here.

This wasn’t a workshop or a lecture…it was a gentle space to sit, breathe, remember, and feel.

The holidays can feel heavy…
If you’re missing someone or carrying something unspoken…
If you just need a place where you don’t have to be “cheerful”…
Today was for you.

✨ No pressure to speak or share.
✨ We lit candles, held space for one another, and found a quiet moment of grace amid the season’s noise.

Parading Our Gratitude 🇺🇸💪🏻♥️
Sun City Center Funeral Home’s Staff walked together today in honor of the men + women who served, alongside our local veterans.
It was a privilege to participate in this year’s Ruskin Veterans Day Parade 2025 community celebration, paying tribute to the courageous individuals who have served our great nation. 🇺🇸
This long-standing tradition brings together local schools, nonprofits, businesses, civic organizations, and community groups in a meaningful display of gratitude and remembrance. The event featured marching bands, floats, color guards, veterans’ organizations, and a variety of local participants,🥰all joining together to celebrate the strength, pride, and unity of our community.
