The practice of reflexology dates back thousands of years ago where ancient cultures believed that certain parts of our feet corresponded with other areas within out bodies; thus making it possible ot treat various health issues through manipulation fo those regions . Today there are many different approaches when using this method but they all share one common goal - activating your own natural self-healing abilities so you can achieve optimal physical mental & emotional state!

Happy Mother’s Day!! 💐

Water is vital for your health and for hydration, and there are many reasons you should drink enough water.
If you are dehydrated, some of the biggest side effects can be headaches, lack of energy, weight gain, a weakened immune response.
Now hydration is not just drinking water. Our bodies need nutritious hydration.
Hydrating foods include:
Celery
Cucumber 🥒
Bell peppers 🫑
Carrots 🥕
Lettuce 🥬
Tomatoes 🍅
Cauliflower
Spinach
Broccoli 🥦
Watermelon 🍉
Pineapple 🍍
Berries 🍓
Citrus fruit 🍊

Sleep is one of the three foundations for health, along with nutrition and exercise. Yet a good night’s sleep can be so elusive
Insufficient sleep can affect your ability to lose or maintain weight, emotions, motivation, and decision-making abilities. Depriving your body of sleep has been linked to many health risks and places a tremendous burden on virtually every organ system in your body.

How to get a good nights sleep

1. Go to bed and wake up at the same time each day—even on the weekends.
2. Make sure that the conditions of your bedroom are conducive to sleep. This includes a cool temperature, comfortable mattress, and eliminating noise and light.
3. Avoid screen time before bed. Put your phone, tablet, and laptop away.
4. Exercise during the day.
5. Practice a bedtime ritual. This ritual or routine should help you to relax, unwind, and prepare for sleep. Consider incorporating reading, journaling, or essential oils into your bedtime ritual.

Lavender, Vetiver, Cedarwood, Petitgrain, and Serenity essential oils can create an environment that encourages restorative sleep. 

Try using doTERRA Balance, Vetiver, or Cedarwood for restless thoughts.

With a new year comes reflecting on the past and goal setting for the new year.
It has been 4 years as a reflexologist and a more Holistic approach to my health and wellness. It is a slow process and not always easy, but so worth it.
This year is the first year I have really written down goals I want to achieve. Maybe it’s the turning 50 motivating me. 🍾
