Most families don’t realize how much support they actually need… until they’re in it.

The middle of the night feeds.
The “is this normal?” questions.
The exhaustion that hits harder than expected.

That’s where postpartum support comes in.

I’ll be at the Madison Parent + Baby Expo next month, and if you’re expecting or newly postpartum, I’d love to meet you in person.

No pressure. No sales pitch.
Just a conversation about what support can actually look like for your family.

You don’t need to overthink this!!

Just show up with whatever you already have in the car or diaper bag.

The goal isn’t to be perfectly prepared.

It’s just to get out of the house and be around other women who understand the season of life you’re in 🤍

So many parents carry this thought quietly.

“I’m not good at this.”
“I should know what to do by now.”
“Other parents seem better at this than me.”

Feeling like a bad mom postpartum doesn’t mean you are one.

It usually means you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, and holding yourself to impossible standards.

Postpartum comes with constant decisions, little sleep, and a lot of pressure to get it right.

Struggling doesn’t mean you’re failing.
It means this is hard.

And you deserve support while you’re figuring it out.

So many parents get stuck asking this question quietly.

Am I just tired?
Or do I actually need more support?

Postpartum exhaustion is real.
But sometimes the issue isn’t just sleep.
It’s how much you’re carrying by yourself.

If you feel like:
• You’re barely keeping up
• Nights feel overwhelming
• You’re doing everything alone
• Rest never feels like enough

That matters.

Support doesn’t mean something is wrong.
It means you’re human and this season is demanding.

You don’t need to wait until you’re completely burned out to ask for help.
Support works best when it’s used early.

You’re allowed to want this to feel lighter.

There’s this quiet belief that once you hit six weeks postpartum, things should feel better.

More energy.
More confidence.
Less overwhelm.

And when that doesn’t happen, parents assume they’re doing something wrong.

Here’s the truth:
Six weeks is a medical checkpoint, not a finish line.

By six weeks, sleep deprivation has stacked up.
Support often drops off.
Expectations increase.
Babies are changing fast.

So if you’re past six weeks and still struggling, you’re not behind.
You’re still postpartum.

Needing support after that point doesn’t mean you missed your chance.
It means you’re listening to yourself.

Postpartum doesn’t follow a timeline.
And you don’t have to rush through it.

There’s a quiet belief that once you hit six weeks postpartum, things should start feeling easier.

More energy.
Better sleep.
More confidence.

And when that doesn’t happen, many parents assume they’re doing something wrong.

The truth is:
Six weeks is a medical checkpoint.

It’s not a guarantee that your body, emotions, or daily life have settled.

If things still feel hard after six weeks, that’s okay because you’re still in the thick of postpartum.

And needing support after that point doesn’t mean you missed your window.
It means you’re listening to yourself.

Let’s normalize postpartum Google searches for a second.

Night sweats.
Feeling shaky for no reason.
Crying randomly.
Being exhausted but unable to sleep.
Loving your baby and still feeling overwhelmed.

So many parents Google these things at 2 or 3 am, wondering if something is wrong with them.

Most of the time, nothing is wrong.
Postpartum is just a lot we don’t talk about honestly.

It’s messy.
It’s weird.
It’s unpredictable.

And when no one prepares you for that, it’s easy to feel alone or scared.

If your search history looks unhinged right now, congratulations.
You’re doing postpartum exactly like most parents do.

Postpartum is full of moments that make you whisper, “Is this normal?”

⟶ Night sweats.
⟶ Feeling shaky for no reason.
⟶ Crying over absolutely nothing.
⟶ Feeling totally fine one minute and undone the next.
⟶ Being exhausted but unable to sleep.

So many parents quietly Google these things at 2 or 3 am, wondering if something is wrong with them.

Most of the time, what’s wrong isn’t you.
It’s that no one prepared you for how weird postpartum can feel.

You’re not dramatic.
You’re not imagining things.
You’re not alone in this.

Postpartum comes with a lot of surprises and very little reassurance.

Save this if it made you feel less alone ✨

Can we talk about the part of postpartum no one really prepares you for?

That feeling when the sun starts to go down and your body tightens.

When you stretch out the bedtime routine like maybe… just maybe… night won’t come yet.

If you’re dreading nighttime postpartum, you’re not weak and you’re definitely not alone.

So many parents feel anxious as evening approaches.
Not because they don’t love their baby.
But because nights have been unpredictable, exhausting, and lonely.

Nighttime is when sleep deprivation hits hardest.
It’s when worries feel louder.
It’s when you remember the long nights you barely made it through.

And because this isn’t talked about enough, parents assume something is wrong with them.

There isn’t.

This is a really common postpartum experience.
And support can make nights feel less heavy and less scary.

You don’t have to white knuckle your way through this season.
