As of Monday afternoon, March 16th, the American Dental Association recommends dentists nationwide postpone elective procedures for the next three weeks. Concentrating on emergency dental care will allow us to care for our emergency patients and alleviate the burden that dental emergencies would place on hospital emergency departments.”
We are asked to see only true dental emergencies these next three weeks. If you have a dental emergency please call the office at: 608-837-5527.
COVID-19 is new territory for all healthcare related businesses. Updates and changes are likely daily. We will keep you updated as we receive directives from the American Dental Association and the Centers for Disease Control that relate to your dental care. Although dramatic, it is our hope that these precautions will serve to reduce the spread of this disease.
We expect to resume routine dental care in early April, as directed from our National and State Dental Organizations through their contact with the Centers for Disease Control.
Our treatment coordinator will efficiently manage appointments as we resume regular dental care. It is our intention to keep in contact with patients either by phone or text messaging as we approach the first day of regularly scheduled dental appointments.
Sincerely,
Dr. Carpenter and Staff
