In the last 4-5 months, I've come to learn that people do not understand it is the will of God to be healed. Healing is rarely taught in churches. Pastors are afraid to teach "something" that is tangible. They are afraid to be seen as a false prophet if people are not healed. They prefer to teach things unseen and intangible like salvation or the end times.
I'm starting my 8th session of chemo for pancreatic cancer. This does not mean God's word is not true. The opposite is true. The 5 senses can and will contradict the will of God.
Proverbs 4:20-22
4:20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
4:21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
4:22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
I walked away from traditional religious church systems over 50 years ago and began searching for truth. Sickness and poverty are the 2 chronic issues of this life yet everyone is blinded to the solution.
I believe God has called me to share what I now know.
Irrespective of anything I may see, hear, or feel in this life, I am healed. That is what God's word says. This truth (the written word) is true in the realm of the spirit (the heavens or the kingdom of God) and it must be spoken on the lips of those who live in this world, the realm of the natural.
Truth written in the Bible can be compared to a fetus inside a woman. She must birth it into the world. When I was told the mass in my pancreas was cancer and I could choose chemotherapy or hospice, I asked them to give me 3 days to think about it.
I was not afraid to die, but somehow, I knew I needed to help others.
I chose the chemo route and then began diligently working the subject of healing from God's view point. In my 50 years of study and research, I thought I had developed a solid foundation in understanding God, which is why I was not afraid to die, but what I have learned in these last 4 months has shocked me.
Understanding and claiming the will of God is the key to receiving anything from God.
