At Shared Support, we know that Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) are the heartbeat of what we do—and DSP Appreciation Week is all about showing our gratitude! 💙

This year, we celebrated in style:
⛽ Staff stopped by Giant to get their gas tanks filled up.
🧽 Our Executive Team rolled up their sleeves to wash windshields, check tire pressure, and hand out snacks.
🙌 A small way to say a BIG “thank you” to the incredible DSPs who keep our mission alive every day.

Your hard work, dedication, and compassion make a world of difference. We couldn’t do it without you!

🌟 Proud Moment Alert! 🌟

The Employment Symposium, hosted by ODP in Harrisburg, was an incredible event where potential employers had the chance to learn about the many benefits of hiring individuals with disabilities.

Two amazing individuals, Sabrina and Brian, were the only speakers chosen to represent, and they absolutely crushed it! 🙌

They shared about their jobs, how long they’ve been working, and even talked about handling challenges with coworkers. They discussed who supports them on the job, their favorite parts of work, and the independence that comes from earning their own money — from buying the things they love to doing the things they enjoy in their free time.

Not only did they answer every question with confidence, but they had the entire crowd laughing and engaged the whole time! 🎤😄 It was clear that their words made a big impact, just what the organizers had hoped for!

Sabrina and Brian even took questions from the audience afterward, and several people came up to chat with them before lunch. 💬

We couldn’t be more proud of how well they represented themselves and the amazing value that inclusive employment brings to every workplace. 💼❤️
