You don’t know what you don’t know! Lying on our back or even semi-sitting in bed 🛌, especially during the 2nd stage of labor🫄🏻, impacts the ability of our pelvis to be more mobile. A mobile pelvis allows for baby 👶🏻 to more easily slide 🛝 down & out, into this world 🌎. I had an epidural 💉 with my 1st, stayed on my back, labor took longer then expected, was threatened with a vacuum assisted delivery, and had an episiotomy🪡. My 2nd birth was natural and upright pushing felt best, but the hospital insisted I lie flat in bed - this time, tearing naturally. I did not know I had the option to choose (regardless of epidural) which position felt best, let alone how to naturally help my body progress baby along. To learn more about your birth options, this is last call to sign up for our in person (this Sunday!) prenatal, birth, and beyond class. Information found @ www.TheraPelvic.com/learnwithus
