Over the years, I’ve had many patients ask what they can give to loved ones who aren’t coming in as patients—for things like colds, flu, allergies, or general immune support. Because I normally muscle test and customize protocols for each individual, this has always been a challenging question to answer.

To bridge that gap, I’m in the process of creating generalized protocols based on combinations that have consistently tested well across many patients. These are designed to support common concerns and can be used as foundational support, along with a few staple supplements that work well between protocols. While these don’t replace personalized testing, they offer a thoughtfully curated starting point for broader use.

It’s that time of year when New Year’s resolutions are in full swing—and one of the most common goals is weight loss. By the end of January, many people feel discouraged because they’ve tried every fad out there, only to realize it didn’t work for their body.
If that’s you, take a breath. Weight loss is a journey, not a pass-or-fail moment. If things didn’t go as planned this month, it doesn’t mean you failed—it means you’re just getting started.

In my practice, I approach weight loss by first creating a strong foundation. That usually begins with a clean, anti-inflammatory diet (such as Paleo or Whole30), along with gentle drainage-opening protocols like those from CellCore—think of it like clearing the pipes under your sink so everything can flow properly again.

Digestive support is almost always part of phase one as well, because for many people digestion has been under strain for years. While some bodies can move directly into more intensive detox programs, most do better with a gradual, supportive approach. I often recommend a pre-cleanse for a couple of months before a deeper cleanse, allowing the body to feel safe, supported, and ready.

Why pair detox with a clean diet? I like to think of detoxing the way we think about cleaning our homes. This is the body you live in every day—keeping it clear and supported matters. I generally recommend detoxing 2–3 times per year, with January often serving as a reset. For others, spring can be an ideal time. If you have ongoing health concerns, closer guidance and more frequent (but well-supported) detox cycles may be appropriate.

Don’t forget to make sure you’ve detoxed out your oral cavity of all dental toxins after seeing your dentist and getting dental 🦷 procedures done! IMAET has a dental panel that I can run and this even checks each tooth and harmonize to strengthen that weak tooth. This is done remotely. DM if interested!

Take me back to France where I never took sunrise for granted (about a month ago!). 🌞. As the waves moved back and forth, I used this rare early morning to meditate and ground. It’s tough to find such moment back in Silicon Valley, but I hope this beautiful sunrise can remind you to enjoy the day in meditative silence and solitude.
