Temporary Suspension of Eye Care 03/17 to 04/07
Dear Patients and Friends,
First and foremost, we really hope you and your family are well because our highest priority continues to be your health and well-being. As we navigate the evolving impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) on our community, we will be suspending in-person patient care from March 17 to April 7, 2020 (or when the Shelter in Place quarantine is complete) due to health and safety ordinances. Our doctors and staff are being vigilant and remain glad to be of service to care for you remotely.
Exams 👩⚕️: We will no longer be available for in-person routine appointments during this period so our team will reach out to you to reschedule your appointment. As usual, our online booking function will be available once we are given the green light to be fully operational.
Contact Lenses and Glasses 🤓: To pick up or order contact lenses and replacement glasses, please email info@stloptometry.com and we will do our best to assist you.
Vision Therapy (VT) patients 👀: Our team will continue to see existing patients via remote video sessions using our secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. Your vision therapy sessions will take place as usual during your previously scheduled appointment time. You should have already received an email with the details. Please email info@stloptometry.com should you have any questions.
Lastly, our sister non-profit (See the Lord) will be accepting donations to support the sick 😷 and elderly 👴 during the coronavirus outbreak in Santa Clara County. If you need provisions and supplies, please email info@seethelord.org. If you happen to have extra provisions and supplies to donate or can provide delivery services, please email info@seethelord.org as well. STL Optometry’s clinic will be accepting drop-off donations. Thank you for your support.
Stay well, and in the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns regarding any matter, please feel free to reach out to Dr. Kao at kelly@stloptometry.com or leave a message at 650-396-3188 (messages will be checked regularly and we will respond as soon as possible).
Take care and we hope to help you with your eye care very soon.
Sincerely,
Your Doctors and Staff at STL Optometry
