Qualification/Experience

Vanessa holds a Master’s in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary and is pursuing an EdD in Community Care and Counseling – Traumatology at Liberty University. She incorporates the tools discussed in her book to help clients navigate identity, purpose, and direction issues. Vanessa specializes in working with single parents facing the challenges of co-parenting, healing from past abuse, and overcoming betrayal trauma. She also has expertise in oncological psychotherapy, supporting cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers. As the Clinical Director at Adjuvant Behavioral Health, she brings a deep understanding of chronic illness and medical treatment to her practice, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Individual Meaning-Centered Psychotherapy (IMCP), and other evidence-based approaches. In her free time, Vanessa enjoys swimming, painting, and spending quality time with her husband and five children.
