🤍
Hi friends! Since this page is growing and Rooted in Rural Yoga is becoming more REAL every day, which I am beyond blown away and grateful for!
I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share the heart behind this whole adventure. 💛
I’m Jenna (Langer) Gilbert, raised right here in Superior, Nebraska. After graduating from Superior, I headed to college in Kansas, but like so many of us, I felt the pull to come home. I moved back in 2020
Before yoga became part of my career path, I was a high school agriculture teacher. These days, my full-time career is as a 4-H Extension Educator, where I get to work with youth, support 4-H families, and stay connected to the agricultural roots that mean so much to me. I still have a huge passion for ag, for our rural way of life, and for helping young people grow into confident, capable humans.
Yoga has been part of my life on and off since high school, but the seed for Rooted in Rural Yoga really sprouted from my absolute LOVE of group fitness classes. There’s something so powerful about moving together, breathing together, and being a part of a supportive community, and I wanted to bring that experience to all of you!
Right now, I’m completing my 200-hour yoga teacher training through Lotus House of Yoga in Lincoln and Omaha, and I’m learning so much that I can’t wait to share with you on the mat.
At home, I live here in Superior with my husband, Joey, and our two dogs, Maggie and Millie — who keep life interesting and full of love (and dog hair).
My hope for Rooted in Rural Yoga is simple:
✨ To create a welcoming space to breathe, move, reconnect, and feel supported. No perfection, no pressure, just heart and community. ✨
Thank you for being here and for supporting this dream. I can’t wait to meet you on the mat soon.
