“Your labs are normal.”
But what does that actually mean?
#1 labs are based on the average of a sick population. Labs that are out of lab ranges = diagnostic criteria for meds or diagnosis.
#2 labs aren’t read from an functional standpoint. Functional = optimal health - where people feel their best. You can still feel like 💩 if your labs are in the “Goldilocks zone”.
#3. Most people are told they’re “fine” after:
✔️ CBC
✔️ CMP
✔️ TSH
What often wasn’t tested:
— A full thyroid panel (free T3, free T4, antibodies, conversion)
— Hormones tested at the right time in your cycle (ideally day 3 and day 19-21)
— All s*x hormones (estrogen, LH, FSH, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA)
— Gut health & microbiome
— Toxins, mold, and detox pathways
So when symptoms persist —
bloating, fatigue, anxiety, weight resistance, irregular cycles — it’s not that your body is broken.
It’s that normal labs ≠ complete data or viewed in an optimal way.
In my practice , I run complete labs and look at them through the lens of optimal health. Not are you sick? But how can you transform your health to full vitality.
🧬 Comment LABS if you’re ready to stop guessing and start testing.
