🎄✨ This Christmas season, we’re feeling thankful. As we head into Christmas week, we’re reflecting on where it all began. ❤️

Traci and her mom, Pam, started Superior Helping Hands 25 years ago! While Pam has since retired, the heart and mission they built together continue to guide us as. We are grateful to serve the seniors and CLTS clients in our community, and we couldn’t do it without our amazing team of caregivers. Your kindness, dedication, and hard work mean everything to us!

We are happy that our team continues to grow, and we’re excited for what’s ahead- Staying rooted in what matters most: caring for people like family.

While most of us are preparing for the busy holiday season and enjoying time off, many caregivers are still quietly doing the work that keeps their loved ones safe. Caregiving doesn't pause for the holidays. If you know someone caring for a parent, spouse, or sibling, check in, offer support, or simply acknowledge their strength. A little kindness can mean everything!

Boo! 🎃👻🤖🤡 Tomorrow is Halloween and we are so looking forward to handing out treats to all who stop by our office for a visit! Trick or Treat hours for participating businesses at the Blaine Business Center are Noon- 3pm tomorrow!

The joy of the season has no age limit so as Halloween brings out the fun and festivities, let's not forget about our senior friends and neighbors! Including them, even with a simple stop by to say "hello", a costume visit, or a shared treat, can make their day brighter.✨ Connection is the sweetest treat of all. 🍬🍭

EXCITING NEWS!! 🎉🎉
Superior Helping Hands is growing our Team!!

We are pleased to announce the promotion of Helen Hase to a newly created role as the CLTS Care Coordinator for Superior Helping Hands!

Helen has worked as a caregiver with our agency for nearly three years. In that time, she has demonstrated the patience, compassion, and professionalism to be highly successful in this new role. Helen brings with her tremendous experience, both in her personal life, and in her career.

Helen is the mother of a child who was part of the COP program. She is able to relate to the unique and challenging needs of a child with specialized physical and emotional needs. She also understands the joy of seeing your child well cared for with the right support of their individual abilities. She is able to appreciate the relief that is provided to the family and primary caregivers when their child is in the care of a well-qualified and caring individual.

In her professional life, Helen worked as a Care Manager for Northern Bridges (now known as Inclusa). She also served participants of the IRIS long-term care program before retiring from full-time work. She has great appreciation for the accountability on the part of all parties to ensure program requirements are met and maintained.

✨✨Congratulations, Helen, on your promotion! Our entire team, our clients, and their families will benefit from the experience and passion you bring to this role. 💓

✨ One of our primary goals is to enable our clients to stay in their current setting, maximize their independence, and to ease family concerns. Very cool to have a family member let us know we succeeded in making that happen. 🤗

Caregiving, the two-hour documentary from executive producer Bradley Cooper, explores the creation and evolution of the American care system, the social dynamics that shape our approach to caregiving today, and the possibilities for caregiving in the future. The film examines caregiving from multiple perspectives, taking an intimate look into the lives of caregivers and their relationships with those in their care.

With tens of millions of Americans serving as unpaid caregivers, this documentary and discussion come at a crucial time for a national dialogue on caregiving. The event will spotlight the personal, social, and policy issues surrounding caregiving and highlight opportunities for innovation and reform.

✨ At Superior Helping Hands our clients are occasionally reluctant starting services. The reality is, few people want to admit they don't have the capacity to care for themselves the way they used to. Many people have been caregivers in some capacity, for much of their lives- How difficult it can be to admit that a helping hand is just what we need!✨
