Good advice!
Lately, it feels like many of us are carrying more than usual. Stress shows up for all kinds of reasons: work, family, the state of the world, the quiet weight we don’t always name.
One practice we keep returning to is abhyanga, the simple ritual of oiling the body with intention. Warm a little oil in your hands. Slow down. Massage it into your skin before a shower or at the end of the day. Let it be a moment where nothing is required of you.
In a world built to extract your time, energy, and attention, caring for your body and soul is a radical act. Tending to yourself is not indulgent; it’s necessary. It’s how we restore what the world keeps asking us to give away.
May this be your reminder to soften, even briefly. To come back home to yourself.
