Resident Ambassadors promote a home-like environment and engage those they serve (to the extent they wish) with the world around them. Just like family members who provide care in the home, our Resident Ambassadors clean, prepare, serve meals, and attend to other normal household chores, as well as provide care.

They build respectful, caring relationships with those they serve and seek to understand their needs and ensure they are met. Our Resident Ambassadors are empowered to make day-to-day decisions regarding the care of the individuals they serve and the smooth functioning of the service in which they work.

They are valued and recognized as core carriers of knowledge about the individuals they care for. They work together with other members of the care team to ensure individuals' needs are met in a way that is consistent with our philosophy of care.
