If you ever text me to grab coffee, wander a bookstore, and then melt into a massage…

…and I say no…

call the cops because that’s not me 😅

But also… when’s the last time you actually did something like that for yourself?

Not rushed.
Not squeezed in.
Not “if I have time.”

Just… a full reset kind of day.

Your body (and honestly, your brain) need that more than you think.

The people who struggle the most with pain
aren’t doing nothing…

They’re doing a little bit of everything…
just not long enough to see a real change.

A stretch here.

A massage there.

Wait until it hurts again. Repeat.

It feels like effort.
But it’s not a system.

Once you treat your body like something worth maintaining, everything starts to make more sense.

That’s usually the turning point.

Tips are always appreciated, but the real MVP moves are:
Leaving a review.
Referring a friend.
Rebooking before your body starts sending angry emails.
And not apologizing for being a human with muscles, stress, and weird shoulder noises.

That stuff means a lot to a small business.

And yes, your body is welcome here exactly as it is.

If your body has been hinting, nagging, or filing formal complaints, you can book at www.vitalkneads.net/booking

Got this in the mail…
Apparently I’m “official” now.

Which is funny, because yesterday I was still just me… trying to fix tight shoulders and remember where I put my coffee. 😏

04/29/2026

Now it’s just part of the business model.

• Client cancels last minute… I’m strong, I’m fine, I’m definitely checking my calendar again
• Someone says “that was the best I’ve ever felt”… why am I emotional right now
• Slow week… suddenly I’m reviewing every life decision since 2003
• Back-to-back clients… no time to cry, only hydrate and pretend I stretched

And the classic…
“I don’t need a massage, I feel fine”

…sir, I’m crying for both of us at this point

Turns out when your income, your energy, and your hands are all connected…
things get a little dramatic.

But hey… at least my coping strategy is solid:

Help bodies all day
then remember I also have one later 👍

Stop the scroll spiral. Ask your massage therapist instead.

Be honest—
How many times have you opened your phone to “look for help” with that ache or tight spot…
…and 20 minutes later you’re watching a cat do yoga or trying to DIY your own psoas release with a lacrosse ball?

The truth?
Your answers might already be in the room - with me. 🙋‍♀️

✅ Want to know which stretches are actually worth your time?
✅ Curious if that clicking shoulder needs massage or something more?
✅ Wondering how often you really need bodywork?

Skip the scroll. Let’s chat at your next session.
You don’t need another rabbit hole - you need real answers, tailored to your body.

The “No Pain, No Gain” Myth: Let’s Talk Massage Philosophy

As a massage therapist, I get it, we’ve all heard the saying, “No pain, no gain.” But when it comes to massage, that mindset couldn’t be further from the truth.

Massage isn’t about pushing your body to the brink of discomfort or pain. It’s about listening to your body and supporting it in healing, relaxing, and restoring balance.

Here’s what I believe:
✨ True progress comes from comfort, not suffering.
✨ Healing happens when you feel safe, cared for, and relaxed.
✨ Pain signals can be your body’s way of saying, “Slow down”, not “Push harder.”

Your massage should leave you feeling renewed, not bruised or beaten up.

So let’s ditch the “No pain, no gain” mindset and embrace “Comfort, care, and real results.”

Because taking care of yourself shouldn’t feel like a punishment. It should feel like the best part of your day.

Healing Is Collaborative!

Massage isn’t just something I do to you, it’s a collaboration. Your feedback, your breath, your comfort all guide the session. My philosophy is that healing works best when we partner together, and your body leads the way.

Most people don’t wait until their car breaks down to get maintenance…

But they’ll ignore their body for months.
Stress and tension don’t show up overnight.

They build.

If something already feels tight, stiff, or off…
that’s your window to do something about it.

🗓 FRIDAY FAQ: “How Often Should I Book a Massage?”

Not sure how often to get a massage?
It depends on why you’re coming in.

Here’s a simple breakdown:

✔️ Chronic tension or stress?
➡ Every 2–3 weeks can help you stay ahead of the buildup.

✔️ Recovering from an injury?
➡ Weekly sessions (for a short time) support healing and speed up recovery.

✔️ Just want to maintain the good work we’ve done?
➡ Once a month is a great rhythm to keep your body feeling its best.

Remember: massage works best when it’s consistent, not just a one-time fix.

Like going to the gym.
→ “One workout helps, but real change comes with consistency.”
