✨ Bridging Generations, Creating Joy ✨

Today we kicked off our Intergenerational April in the most beautiful way 💛

Our lovely residents had the opportunity to visit Phoenix Children’s Academy, where they spent time with the students painting, laughing, and simply enjoying one another’s company. 🎨👵👧

The connection between generations was truly heartwarming. You could feel the joy in the room,smiles were shared, stories were exchanged, and bonds were formed that go beyond age.

Our residents left feeling refreshed, vibrant, and full of life and honestly, so did I. Moments like these remind us how powerful human connection really is.

The ladies spent a beautiful day out exploring, searching for little treasures in nature, each rock holding its own quiet story. With laughter in the air and joy in every step, they returned inspired, ready to turn those simple finds into something meaningful.

Paintbrushes in hand, creativity came to life. Colors danced across every surface, transforming each rock into a unique piece of art, full of personality, beauty, and heart. 🎨✨

Our hearts (and outfits!) were full today as we celebrated Green & Grateful Day. From vibrant emerald tops to soft sage hues, our community came together in every shade of green a beautiful symbol of gratitude, growth, and togetherness.

Today wasn’t just about what we wore… it was about what we felt. Grateful for shared laughter, meaningful moments, and the incredible people who make our community feel like home.

🍀✨ Spirit Week is in Full Effect! ✨🍀

Yesterday we kicked off our Irish-themed Spirit Week with Wear Gold Day, and our community absolutely shined! From gold-striped shirts and golden silk tops to shimmering clover ears and even a little sparkle of gold dust, every shade of gold made an appearance.

It was a beautiful reminder that sometimes the brightest moments come from the smallest touches of fun and creativity. Laughter filled the halls, smiles were everywhere, and our Monday truly started with a little extra luck and a lot of golden spirit.

This month we are honored to celebrate our Resident of the Month, Alfred!

Alfred will be turning an incredible 99 years young this March, and every day he reminds us what a blessing it is to live life with joy and gratitude. With ties to Scotland, Alfred carries the warmth, charm, and spirit of his heritage wherever he goes.

Alfred is truly an amazing human being. His smile can light up a room, and he has a way of making everyone around him feel welcomed and appreciated. Whether he’s enjoying one of his favorite treats of coffee and donuts, or sharing a laugh with staff and friends, Alfred brings happiness to our community.

We are also proud to honor Alfred as an Army veteran, whose service and dedication represent courage and commitment. 🇺🇸

Alfred, thank you for the wisdom, kindness, and joy you bring to our community every day. We are so grateful to celebrate you!

It’s Energy Booster time again, and for week number THREE, we’re so excited to spotlight… Ashley!

Ashley is our amazing Activities Assistant, and she is absolutely thriving. She’s doing so well in her role, staying on track, engaging beautifully with our residents, and bringing so much life into every space she walks into.

Her bubbly personality, constant smile, and genuine heart make such a difference in our community. You can feel her positive energy the moment she steps into the room, and our residents feel it too.

Half the room was locked in on bingo, ears ready and eyes sharp… while the other half was shouting out letters in an intense round of hangman! 😄

It was friendly competition, lots of laughs, a little playful rivalry, and a whole lot of fun. Moments like these remind us that joy, connection, and a little game-time excitement make all the difference. 💛🎲
