Nutritive Health and Wellness A health and wellness page dedicated to making the world a healthier place.

When was the last time you talked with someone about your health and received the personal attention you deserve? It’s rare for anyone to get an hour to work on their nutrition and goals with a trained professional. As a Health Coach, I create a supportive environment that will enable you to achieve all of your health goals. I have studied all the major dietary theories and use practical lifestyle coaching methods to guide you in discovering which approach works best for you. Most approaches to nutrition dwell on calories, carbs, fats, proteins. Instead of creating lists of restrictions and good and bad foods, I coach my clients to create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun and free of denial and discipline. I will guide you to find the food and lifestyle choices that best support you. I will also help you to make gradual, lifelong changes that enable you to reach your current and future health goals. Could one conversation change your life?

You have choices in this life. You choose your food, your partners, your work, and the things you do every day. You can choose things that bring you joy and peace or you can choose things that make you angry and bitter. If you're feeling stressed, can't sleep, and you're cranky then look at the choices you have been making. Then think about the things that are important to you. Family? Kids? Peace? Health? What choices have you made that interfere with these? Are these choices interfering with the things that are important to you? Too much time on social media complaining about something you have no control over? Just stop giving it power. Focus on the important things.

I am always looking for alternatives to pancake syrup. For those who haven't read my book I am not a fan of pancake syrup. Its one of the most unhealthy things you can put into your body. Its not just the high fructose corn syrup, its more about the Sodium Hexametaphosphate. It is actually a metallic ion that is used as a corrosion inhibitor. So why is it in almost every pancake syrup on the market? Good question. My guess is that it gives the syrup a glisten that is good for marketing. In lab studies this additive has been shown to inhibit growth, increase kidney weight, cause bone decalicification, parathyroid hypertrophy and hyperplasia, and cause muscle fiber size alterations. If your kids are eating this everyday with their eggo waffles the accumulated amounts in their little bodies could be causing damage you can't even see yet.

I found this Date syrup a couple months ago and have been truly enjoying it. Mix it with some Pure Maple syrup or honey to make it last longer. Its very delicious!

Beef Borshte is one of the most nutritious soups you can eat. Plus, if you just had a hard workout this soup will assist in your recovery, especially if you use a bone broth instead of standard beef broth.

I use a pressure cooker. Wash and peel 3 large organic beets along with their greens. Cut red beets into 1/2" squares and shred the greens place into pot. Wash 5 small organic carrots and cut into 1/2" pieces. Place into pot. Wash and cut 3 large organic celery sticks and 1 medium organic onion, place onto pot. Add precut grass fed stew meat. Pour in one full container (32 oz.) grass fed beef bone broth. Add about 2 Tablespoons olive oil, 1/4 cup organic red wine or red wine vinegar, for seasoning i used 2 teaspoons of each: Pink Himalayan Salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and Dill W**d. Add 1 teaspoon each: black pepper and Coriander. Seal the pressure cooker and bring to a boil. Once pressure is built, lower heat to medium low and cook for 20 minutes. Let sit for 5 minutes and then slowly release pressure. Ladle into bowls, add sour cream and Dill W**d. Enjoy!

Focus on your health today. Rather than focusing on the hopelessness, the stress our country is in, the despair, the the television, or politics, go out for a walk, a run, spend some time outside enjoying the nature around you, and take some time to think about what goes into your body whether it be food or your thoughts and emotions. As my grandmother used to say, "this too shall pass".

Parents all over the country have found themselves in a Home School situation having to work remotely as well as make sure their children are keeping up with school work. Parents this is your opportunity to bring exercise back into your children's daily curriculum. While Schools may have cut PE to save on their budget, your own home school can bring it back. Exercise will get those nervous jitters out, increase the potential for learning, increase the immune system, and give you and your children a much needed mental break. Get out and walk, do some jumping jacks and pushups, yoga, bicycle, running, or roller blading. Whatever your fun exercise activity is get out and do it.

Healing from a chronic illness is possible. It's not just a healing of the body, it's a healing combination of the mind, body, and spirit. My book covers all of it and gives the reader some great ideas for improving health through self discovery, exercise and diet.

Cyndie opens and closes the book with a quest to the summit of Mt. Whitney and brings you along see what it took to get her there. The first section of Limitless Immunity is about how the inner self, mental well being, and mental stress directly effects the body’s ability to heal. The Author conn....

Our Story

Going from Lyme to Limitless is possible. Does limitless mean that we no longer have to manage our immune systems, care for our health, or rest when our bodies need it? No. Limitless means that you learn to build your immune system, you learn to increase your health, and you learn when you need to rest and rejuvenate while living the limitless life you deserve. I’ve gone from Lyme to reaching the summit of Mt. Whitney, a long-time bucket list item that I never thought I would actually be able to do. Those with Lyme may wonder how I was able to do that and not take a hit to my immune system. The answer is, I didn’t. I took a big hit and had to do a lot of rest, herbal remedies, and some Lyme treatments after this. But I know my immune system and what it needs to get back to where I can reach my next goal and live without limits, slower than someone without Lyme, but limitless nonetheless. Keep an eye out for my book coming soon.
