Yin Stretch: Every Wednesday - 10:00am - 11:15am

Yin Stretch is a form of energy healing. This slow-paced style of yoga incorporates principles of traditional Chinese medicine. The poses are held for longer periods of time than in other styles of yoga.

Instead of focusing on building strength, Yin focuses on flexibility and relaxation by targeting deep connective tissue. This also helps release blocked energy bringing peace and balance to our body, mind, and soul.

Class will begin with intention setting and creating a sacred space.
Reiki and Thai adjustment will be offered at the end of class to bring complete healing.

If you have your own mat, blanket, pillow, or anything you feel you will need, please bring that with you if you want. We do have mats, blankets, blocks, and some pillows for your convenience.

An Artist Space of Creation: Tuesday, Nov. 11th 12:00am - 3:00pm

Karen will be your host and has created this event for all of us who seldom set aside time to work on our art. At Dragonflies and Amber you'll not only have a space that is dedicated to creation for 3 hrs, it is also free of distraction, and spiritually charged. We are creating a place of support for each other.

Many art forms are welcome (oil painting, acrylic painting, watercolor painting, sketching of all kinds, knitting, crocheting, beading, sewing, weaving, spinning, etc). If you do something else and want to inquire if it can be done here please ask in the comments and Karen will get back to you.

You will need to bring your own equipment including easels either standing of desktop (we have chairs and tables), as well as clean up after yourselves.

Investment is $11

The Dragonflies and Amber Story

We all have a very special soul named Patricia Mowry (aka Cakes, Patsy, Mama Bear) to thank for the manifestation and continual ripple effect of Dragonflies and Amber!

In 2011 this kind soul passed away but before she left and through this day she awakened a movement. In the time we were gifted with her before the other side needed her, she asked me to learn to speak with her once she was gone (become a medium). During this time, she let us know she would present as a Dragonfly and smell like lavender and boy does she!! We learned Amber was a resin that is the renewal of life and that life goes beyond what we see.

There were so many thoughts and feelings for me around the subject of mediumship. This was a life altering decision but for her I would do it. I decided living life passionately is my way of honoring her. For it was a gift she was not given. Mourning her would not bring her back but living life in a way to show it does not end here was my way of making sure she always lived on.

The initial intention was to “chat” with her, to bring peace to her family and friends, maybe bring comfort to my own family by letting them know we go on. Never did I think it would be a public thing!! Well, she had a different plan!
