When most people think about exercise, they imagine building strong muscles, improving balance, or maybe boosting sports performance. Working out is great for the body—after all, that’s why doctors and physical therapists recommend it so often for injury recovery, heart health, and staying activ...

Healthcare waits for crises. Too often, we do too.
Kate DiFiore, founder of Aura Longevity & Wellness , explains how patients and the system both fall into reactive patterns, ignoring small signs until “everything’s hitting the fan.” The future? Data-driven prediction and prevention: catching issues early, building habits that keep you healthy, and taking real control of your body before problems escalate.

We had way too much fun filming this one 😂 Here are four (of many) PT personalities you’ll definitely spot in an outpatient clinic:
🤖 The Techie
Always armed with wearables, apps, metrics, and enough data to launch a rocket. Loves a good progress graph more than anything.
📢 The Drill Sergeant
Fair. Focused. Unapologetically committed to getting you stronger. If they say “one more rep,” they mean five.
☕ The Caffeine Addict
Their treatment cart should honestly come with a cup holder. Fueled by coffee. Powered by back-to-back patient care.
🧠 The Anatomy Nerd
Knows every muscle, nerve, and ligament. Might explain all of them to you during your warm-up (whether you asked or not).
At Concierge PT, we’ve got a team full of unique personalities! But the one thing they all share? A passion for helping you move better, feel better, and stay pain-free. 💚💚

❄️ Save your back this winter!! Before you grab that shovel, Rachael is here with a few PT-approved tips to keep your spine happy and avoid the classic “I tweaked my back shoveling” injury we see EVERY winter in central Mass.
✔️ Hinge at your hips, not your lower back! Let the big muscles do the work.
✔️ Bend your knees to scoop, don’t round your spine.
✔️ Keep the shovel close to your body for better leverage.
✔️ Lift with your legs and pivot your feet instead of twisting your torso.
✔️ Take breaks! Snow is heavy.
Smart shoveling equals a safer back and a smoother winter snow season.
If you do feel tightness or pain after shoveling, DON'T wait it out. Book an evaluation with Concierge PT at one of our 5 locations across Central MA & Metrowest! We’ll get you moving comfortably again so you can handle winter like a pro.

💥 Burpees: the exercise everyone loves to hate… but SHOULD be doing. Rachael is back with another functional fitness tip, and today she’s breaking down why burpees deserve a spot in your workout routine (yes, really!!).
Burpees are a total-body powerhouse:
✔️ Upper body + lower body strength
✔️ Core stability
✔️ Cardiovascular conditioning
✔️ Fall recovery training (because the entire movement is built around getting down to the floor and getting back up safely)
And the best part? They’re fully modifiable.
Whether you’re crushing full-speed burpees or slowing it down into low-impact steps, you can train the same movement pattern at your level.
If you’re unsure how to modify movements for your body, or pain is holding you back, book an evaluation with Concierge! We’ll build a plan that keeps you strong, safe, and moving forward. 💚🏃
