PT Tip of the Day:
When standing up from a chair:
1️⃣ Scoot to the edge
2️⃣ Bring feet underneath you
3️⃣ Lean forward (“nose over toes”)
4️⃣ Push through your legs, not your back
Small technique changes can protect your joints and make daily tasks easier.

Happy Valentines Day!

Jaw pain isn’t always just a dental issue!
If you have:
• Jaw clicking or popping
• Pain with chewing or yawning
• Headaches or neck pain
• Facial tightness
• Limited mouth opening

You may be dealing with TMJ dysfunction—and physical therapy can help.

Your jaw doesn’t work alone. It’s closely connected to your neck, posture, breathing, and muscle tension. When one piece isn’t working well, pain shows up.

How physical therapy helps jaw pain:
✔️ Improve jaw and neck mobility
✔️ Address posture and muscle imbalances
✔️ Reduce muscle tension and guarding
✔️ Retrain jaw movement patterns
✔️ Decrease headaches and facial pain

You don’t have to live with jaw pain or constant tension.
