We’re a walk-in emergency clinic open seven days a week and serving Metro Atlanta. We accept almost all insurance plans and can provide bundled fees for whatever you need. Our doctor is a certified emergency room physician and an expert in emergency care. Our team of skilled specialists at Gwinnett Urgent Care offer a variety of services. We can help you with anything from cuts and injuries, to infections, sore throats and more. Our walk in clinic offers hospital-like care without the typical hospital wait times. Gwinnett Urgent Care is now able to provide telemedicine services, also referred to as telehealth, to patients all over Georgia. Our telehealth consultations utilize live video and simulate an in-office consultation between patients and our providers, giving patients the care they need at their convenience. This service is only available during our normal business hours.

Lacerations and burns can happen to anyone, anywhere, anytime. Knowing how to properly care for them is critical in their healing process. If the wound is bleeding profusely, immediately apply direct pressure to the area and seek medical attention. If minor, rinse the area with cool water and apply a sterile bandage or dressing. Burns require similar protocol but without the addition of water. If the burn covers a large area or exhibits blisters, prompt treatment from a medical professional is necessary.

We will likely take sets of X-rays during your treatment to see how it is progressing, and after treatment to assess its outcome. The types of X-rays we will need depend on your treatment plan. However, all of these X-ray methods emit low levels of radiation—less than you would receive when being screened for an airline flight—and are very safe and free of side effects.
