Our ovens are heating up… it’s almost time for our Annual Bake Sale at Emanuel County Nursing Home! 🧁🍪🥧

🕘 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
📍 Emanuel County Nursing Home

All proceeds go directly to our Activities Department to help provide fun, meaningful events and extras for our residents. 💜

We are also accepting donated baked goods to make this sale a sweet success! If you would like to donate cakes, cookies, pies, or other goodies, please call Missy Mills at 478-419-1903.

The Diabetic Support Group ended the year with Carolyn Brinson, sharing how to prepare tasty diabetic desserts with the group. Her spouse was a diabetic and she learned to change the way she cooked and how to make healthier food choices. She is famous amongst her church family and friends as a wonderful cook who is able to make diabetic meals that are delicious.

The group was able to sample and take home some of her delicious berry cobbler, pumpkin muffins and peanut butter pie.

The winners of the door prizes were Audrey Riggins, Lakesha Culbreth, Teresa Bright, Alan Dyer and Angelia Hall.

🍁 What a wonderful day at Emanuel County Nursing Home! 🍁

Today we gathered with our residents and their families for a beautiful Thanksgiving lunch filled with all the trimmings, warm smiles, and even sweeter fellowship. We were blessed to have Mark and Angie Hudson join us and share their gifts in song! What a treat! 🎶
A huge thank you to our amazing staff, our STC students, our cafeteria team, and every single person who had a hand in making today so special. It truly takes a village, and we are grateful for each one of you. ❤️
